5. USE LOCAL RESOURCES AND THINK IN TERMS OF MUTUAL TRAINING

The first question to ask is whether or not all the local resources are exploited. For example, there might be local businesses, national corporations, non-profit associations and governmental organizations willing to invest time, energy and money in professional development, in exchange of academic services offered on campus or a reduction in educational costs, and thus might be able to bring a number of second language speakers for mutual training.

The mutual training process implies reciprocal teaching and cooperative learning in video-based reflective groups, as described on this website.

DEEP UNIVERSITY

The deep approach is about mindset and embodied action. It is about persons, humans, in the dynamics of living. It is something people want to live and work for. It is never fully achieved, it is always in the making, and depends upon situations.
